Islandsspecialisten AB is a swedish company founded in 1973.
It´s founder and owner is Carl-Johan Kjellander.
The company is since more than 30 years specialized in Icelandic stamps, cancellations, letters and post cards. We have a comprehensive stock.
We use the swedish Facit-catalogue, which can be a bit troublesome for some foreign collectors. But all different printings and so one are listed in the catalogue, which makes it very appropriate. To make it easier for you, all the older issues are listed separate. Because of this, you can use any catalogue, and you will find the correct stamp. If there are any questions, please use e-mail and we mail you back as soon as possible.
All the stamps, cancellations and so one is owned by the company our it´s owner. Thus we can offer an extended guarantee; If you aren´t satisfied with your purchase, you only have to mail the stamps back.
The company is a member of Sveriges Frimärkshandlarförbund/Swedish Stamp Dealers Association and IFSDA.

The owner of the company is 55 years old, and I dare say, not best in town to use computers, build web-sites and so on. This is version number one of the company's web site. You don´t need to be the cousin of Einstein to realise that the next version will be a lot better...

1: We offer so many stamps, cancellations and so on, that it can be hard to overlooking our . To make it a bit easier; First choose what you are looking for and click on the symbol, for example “Skildings”. Next step; print it out! Than it´s easier to overlook what we offer. Choose and take a closer view at the stamp on on your computer screen.
2: We are specialized in issues before 1955. If you can´t find a stamp issued before 1955 on this web-site, the reason generally is that the stamp is too cheap or too expensive. Please a-mail us your wantedlist. If the stamps are cheap, we mail you back and tell you what we can offer. If the stamp is very rare, and thus expensive, please note that we - sooner or later - we will have it in our stock.
